Complaints about the EDO
If you are unhappy with the service you have received from the EDO, or unhappy that we have been unable to assist you, please refer to the following complaints protocol.
Complaints Protocol
- All complaints should initially be directed to the EDO staff member concerned with the complaint .
- The EDO staff member will attempt to resolve the complaint in consultation with the Principal Solicitor .
- Complaints which cannot be resolved by the staff member will be referred to the Principal Solicitor for attempted resolution .
- Complaints which cannot be resolved by the Principal Solicitor will be referred to the Convenor for resolution .
- Complaints about legal matters can also be referred to the Legal Practice Board/Law Society as appropriate .
A copy of the resolution of any complaint will be sent to the complainant. All complaints will be kept confidential .
