Complaints, Compliments and Suggestions

The EDO welcomes your feedback on our services. You can provide feedback, compliments and/or suggestions to us using the above email contacts.

 Complaints Protocol

  • All complaints should initially be directed to the EDO staff member concerned with the complaint.
  • The EDO staff member will attempt to resolve the complaint in consultation with the Principal Solicitor.
  • Complaints which cannot be resolved by the staff member will be referred to the Principal Solicitor for attempted resolution.
  • Complaints which cannot be resolved by the Principal Solicitor will be referred to the Convenor for resolution.
  • Complaints about legal matters can also be referred to the Legal Practice Board/Law Society as appropriate.

A copy of the resolution of any complaint will be sent to the complainant. All complaints will be kept confidential.
